Return & Shipping Policy

We understand how hard it can be to purchase fragrances online and we want to make sure you’re happy with every single purchase.

Due to the nature of our products, used candles, room mists, reed diffusers cannot be returned or refunded  

Returns

For Online Orders:

We have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 days after date of delivery to request a return. 

If accepted, unused products you are returning must be received within 14 days of the date of delivery.

Return eligibility; Item must be:

  • In new condition
  • Undamaged
  • Unused
  • Tags, labels and original packaging intact
  • Receipt and proof of purchase 
  • Unburned (Candles)
  1. Within 7 days of date of delivery, please send an email to hello@maegeorgehf.com with a return request letting us know the reason for your return along with photographic proof.
  2. If your return is accepted, you will be responsible for generating shipping labels and all costs associated with shipping return items. Please save your tracking number. 
  3. Upon acceptance and within 14 days of the date of delivery you may return your unused products for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping and handling. Products not received within 14 days of date of delivery will be considered void and may not be re-eligible for return or refund. 
  4. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  5. Please be sure that your package is returned using the bubble and paper that it was packed in or something similar. Be sure that the candles are protected and packed securely so that they arrive in good condition.
  6. Do not return your product to the return address on the label.

Additional items not eligible for return or refund:

  • Last call items
  • Sale items (including items purchased with a discount code)
  • Gift Cards
  • Limited edition items
  • Custom items
  • Items marked final sale or non returnable on the product page
  • Items returned more than 14 days after delivery
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Items that have not been used or are not in their original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. 
  • Orders/items where tracking states it has been delivered. We do not offer reshipments. 

Orders purchased at retail shops:

Items purchase at another retailer cannot be returned to us. 

Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges at this time

Damage, Loss & Theft. Route Package Protection

We carefully package all items to survive even the roughest of delivery. 

We proudly partner with Route, the leader in package protection. By selecting Route Protect at checkout, your order will be protected from loss, damage, or theft. In the unfortunate case that your order never arrives or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a shipping issue with Route and receive a replacement or be reimbursed. We are excited to offer this service to you and we highly recommend you use Route package protection at checkout. 

By opting out of Route package protection, Mae & George Home Fragrances, LLC is not liable for lost, damage or stolen items.

You can report an issue with Route through the mobile app (iOS or Android), through the email you receive from Route after placing your order, or by going to claims.route.com

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note shipping costs are non-refundable. A restocking fee may also apply at our sole discretion. If you receive a refund, please not that the return shipping fee and any applicable restocking fees will be deducted from your refund.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If you have not received a refund after 10 business days, please check the account of your original payment method again. Then contact your bank or credit card company. There is often time between when we initiate a refund and it is posted. 

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@maegeorgehf.com.

We reserve the right to modify our return and refund policy at any time. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

Shipping policy

Order processing times 

All orders are processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Exceptions to our processing times do occur, especially during sales and other yearly events. If processing falls outside of the 5 business day time period, we will update the current time in the announcement bar on the main web page.  

Once an order has been processed and shipped, there may be shipping delays due to carrier delays.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. 

In-store pickup

We do not offer in-store pick up. Please check our lists of stockists to find out which stores our brand is carried.

International Shipping

We are currently only shipping within the US.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 2 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@maegeorgehf.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Shipping to P.O. boxes

Some carriers have limitations around shipping to P.O. Boxes. We will alert you if item delivery to a PO Box is unavailable.
