Candles
It sure is. Our candles are made from a unique blend of coconut and soy waxes.
Here is one tip that should help.
Before you light your candle:
- Be prepared to let the candle form a full melt pool. This means patiently allowing it to become liquid from edge to edge before extinguishing the flame. Candle wax has memory, it's all in how you start.

In general our 12oz candles burn for 70 hours. Our 4oz candles burn for 15 hours.
We recommend recycling it. For fun you could always upcycle it!
Some folks have done some pretty fun things with their vessels like using them as planters, pen holders, candy dishes, paper clip holders, etc.
If you do a fun upcycle don't forget to post it and tag us!
Reed Diffusers
Place reeds into the mixture to draw the solution up. As the solution is drawn into the reeds, then fragrance will begin to diffuse into the room
We recommend starting off with 8 reeds, then adding additional reeds if a stronger scent is desired. If you enjoy a strong scent, begin with 1-2 more reeds than usual.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, surfaces and furnishings.
Keep away from heat sources. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Do not consume. Wash hands thoroughly if you come in contact with the fragrance oil.
Typically they last close to 3 months.
Give those reeds a good flip and the scent should be refreshed and as good as new.
If that doesn't work it may be time to refill that diffuser. We've got refills and reed replacements that should take care of that.
Shipping
All orders are processed within 5Â business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Exceptions to our processing times do occur, especially during sales and other yearly events. If processing falls outside of the 5 business day time period, we will update the current time in the announcement bar on the main web page.
Once an order has been processed and shipped, there may be shipping delays due to carrier delays. Once a package has been received by the carrier, we don't have any information beyond what shows on their tracking page.
We do not offer in-store pick up. Please check our lists of stores that carry our products to pick up same day.
We are currently only shipping within the US.

In the unfortunate case that your order never arrives or is broken upon arrival, you can easily file a shipping issue with Route and receive a replacement or be reimbursed.

Returns & Exchanges
We know purchasing candles online can be tough, but our goal is to make sure you're happy.
Due to the nature of our products, used candles, room mists and reed diffusers are not accepted for returns or refunds.
Within 7 days of date of delivery, please send an email to hello@maegeorgehf.com with a return request letting us know the reason for your return along with photographic proof.
Upon acceptance and within 14 days of the date of delivery you may return your unused products for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping and handling. Products not received within 14 days of date of delivery will be considered void and may not be re-eligible for return or refund. Customer is responsible for generating shipping labels and all costs associated with shipping return items.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

We do not accept exchanges at this time.

As a small business, we're unfortunately not able to donate large quantities of candles for swag bags or events. However, we do offer special bulk pricing if you're interested in purchasing candles for your occasion—just reach out and we’d be happy to help!
